Not a movie to see the same week a loved one passes away. Because all I kept thinking was what my grandfather would’ve had to say: “Why is this so slow?” “She cries ugly.” “Can this asshole chew popcorn any louder?”
The performances were solid (Kidman, Eckhart, Wiest, etc.), but it was a bit disjointed on the whole—guess I should’ve gathered that from the poster. I would’ve loved to have seen the play back in ‘06, considering Cynthia Nixon nabbed the Tony.
